Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the iFlowRead app and this website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using iFlowRead, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using iFlowRead (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App. If you are accessing the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use iFlowRead. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. License to use the app
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use iFlowRead on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple's Usage Rules set out in the App Store Terms of Service.
This license does not give you any ownership interest in the App. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
3. Subscriptions, free trial & billing
iFlowRead offers two subscription tiers — Basic and Pro — each available on a monthly or yearly billing cycle. Current pricing is shown in the App and on our Plans page and may vary by region.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be identified.
- Subscriptions and auto-renewal may be managed, and auto-renewal may be turned off, by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions).
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Free trial. New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial for the selected plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-current price for the plan and billing period you selected.
Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with its own policies — we are not able to issue refunds directly. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes to pricing or plans. We may change subscription prices or the features included in each tier from time to time. If a price increase applies to your existing subscription, Apple will notify you in advance and your continued subscription is subject to your consent to the new price as required by App Store policy.
4. Your content
"Your Content" means the scripts, text, recordings, images, and other materials you create, import, or store using iFlowRead. As between you and us, you retain all ownership rights to Your Content.
Because iFlowRead is offline-first, Your Content is generally stored on your device and is not transmitted to us. If you enable optional cloud sync, Your Content may be stored in your own iCloud or Google Drive account as described in our Privacy Policy — we do not access, view, or claim any rights to that content.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to use, record, and store it (for example, obtaining consent from anyone you record on camera, where required by law).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any subscription, licensing, or content-protection mechanism;
- Use automated means to access the App or this website in a way that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce, or that disrupts the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Use the App to create, record, or distribute content that infringes the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
6. Intellectual property
The App, this website, and all related software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (including the iFlowRead name and mark) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 2 and the rights you retain in Your Content under Section 4, no rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.
Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, iPad, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Drive is a trademark of Google LLC. References to these marks are for identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement.
7. Third-party services
iFlowRead integrates with services operated by Apple (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud) and, optionally, Google (Google Drive). Your use of those services is governed by the relevant third party's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any filler-word detection, transcription, or accuracy scoring will be perfectly accurate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including statutory consumer guarantees that may apply in your jurisdiction.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, without limiting any other remedies available to us. Subscription cancellation is handled through your Apple ID account settings as described in Section 3, and deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which iFlowRead's developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable local consumer protection law requires otherwise. [Replace this section with your specific jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process before publishing.]
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide additional notice (such as an in-app message) where appropriate. Continued use of iFlowRead after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact us
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@iflowread.com or via our Contact & Support page.
